BIOGRAPHY

Tare is a hardcore jazz–flavored duo born in 2019 in Vicenza, from the collaboration between drummer Leonardo Ziche and bassist Alberto Munarini. After their first teenage musical experiences, and inspired by Mehliana’s Taming the Dragon, they formed the duo and began composing their first pieces. In 2019, they released their first single, Notturno, followed by their first EP, TESA (2022). In 2024, they were approached by the independent publisher STC to score selected excerpts from Anna Chiara Bassan’s episodic novel Il pop deve ancora venire. The result, recorded and produced in Thiene at their rehearsal space, is called POP: a 5-track EP, each containing a spoken fragment from the stories. This opportunity allowed them to perform outside the province, and in February they debuted at the Zi Rekomenduoja Festival in Vilnius. In the meantime, they completed their debut album, GAS, which was released on June 6th, 2025.
